While I was in Los Angeles for a wedding shoot, I had a chance to meet and shoot little miss Chloe Campbell, who just turned one in April.  I’ve known her parents for a while and even captured some beautiful images of her mom, Laurie, while she was pregnant with this little princess, so it was a joy to snap the whole family this time.  What a beautiful trio they make!

I shot this little guy and his parents at a family home on White Rock Lake with oodles of great places to take pictures.  He was a charmer and happy as a clam for most of the shoot, except when we tried to put him the copper pot without a shirt on – luckily I have a quick trigger finger!  And such photogenic parents too!

Sometimes there’s nothing better than having a chance to shoot friends that are really more like family.  Little Edie is a ham so I knew I’d get some fun shots out of her, but I had no idea that at only five months old, Gray would be such a poser.  He didn’t mind the least when we sat him in a bucket for a good twenty minutes.  The only snafu was when I had the bright idea to have Edie pose with the chickens down the street – turns out she was terrified that the rooster would get her.  Then we got the whole family in on the action for a Christmas photo.  Thanks guys for letting me be your photographer as well as a part of your family!

I’m in Dallas right now, and having a blast with a bunch of family, engagement and wedding photography.  On Sunday I had a chance to work with Riley, who is only 8 months old and posed like a pro for almost an hour!  We had so much fun playing dress up and got some great shots in her first Halloween costume and some picture perfect Christmas card photos.  I think she looks just like a little Kewpie doll.  I already have a great photoshoot idea cooked up for her first birthday!
